Mellowing? Are you saying you are out there, hanging more of those cute lights?????? :-))))
And no, you shouldn't mention Global Warming, what with you frozen stiff yet all mellow inside. :-)

It looks so warm and inviting - both your home and the restaurant. Wish you were closer It's a top coat warmer in the SW.

Right by the window, Q. Most of our customers would kill for a window seat.
Very dazzling indeed! ;o)

Yes, well for the spirit of christmas one has to do it, even if one doesn't believe in Santa.
No, I won't especially when there knives close at hand.

Thanks, pi. This is the new version of the one where you dined. When was that?
Actually today has been quite mild up here.

I want to spend Christmas at YOUR house. Failing that, I'll sleep on your restaurant floor if I have to.

We all mellow as we age don't we? I remember that post because of the camel-herder thing which is similiar to a thought I have when John annoys me.

Andrea, you're welcome as long as you do the dinner.

Gigi, very Mellow Cream.
You cannot be lonely if you like the person you're alone with.
The snow is always whiter when left alone. ??

Mary, little does Karen know that I've only ever seen camels at the zoo.

Hayden, I shall do some research. The only thing is that Karen might use double the number of bulbs if she finds out. And would that not be defeating the object!

Cream: to answer your question it was after 1985 when my father was 80 and before 1990 when he died. The last time we came was after our nephew had been tragically killed in a road accident in South Africa. Probably 1987. Sorry not to be more accurate.
Have a good Christmas and a happy, healthy prosperous 2008.

PI, no wonder you came back. I cooked between 85 and 97.
Then I gave up because I kept eating the mistakes.;o)
You too have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I love this line: 'You cannot be lonely if you like the person you're alone with.' It is so very true.

And everything does look warm and inviting. That Bob Marley song keeps going around in my head, 'Ccoming in from the cold...'

Akela, you are welcome to share Q's table. I'll make sure it overlooks the water or the G&T.
Thank you.

Gigi, I don't know where it came from but the more I look at that phrase the more I like it.
I think I definitely have come in from the cold.
What a warm feeling!!

Thank you, Q and all the best to you too.

Ale, welcome back! It's been so long.
I'm honoured and shall try to sort you out a recipe in the new year.

Goth, I often moan about the number of lights on at any one time but it always falls on deaf ears.
All the best to you too.
