Under a Moroccan spell...

There is a café in downtown Marrakesh
Where semen comes really fresh
You can use it to coat your meat
Before you turn on the heat.

It is often as thick as butter
You may even need a cheese cutter
To slap it on a piece of toast
With a drop of honey or a slice of roast.

Some like its salty taste
And it’s not bad on the waist
But let me reassure everyone
This is just a bit of fun.

To those with a dirty mind
It’s only butter that’s been refined
Indian cooks call it Ghee
But semen is funnier, you’ll agree…

I couldn't resist taking a photo of this café window.
I have always known clarified butter as "S'men" but I am sure that with this spelling, a simple Café will easily be mistaken for a Bank...
A sperm bank!

i don't think that i'll be spreading that on my toast in the near future - too much vitamin E, so they say.

I agree, Z. And it can be very fattening too, especially if one of the little buggers slips through.

Dip-dop, vous avez raison, ma mère faisait toujours sa cuisine avec du S'men parcequ'il supportait des températures élevées.
Pour ce qui est de la gelée royale, il y en dans toutes les salles de bains du Royaume d'Angleterre. Après tout, "An Englishman's home is his castle!"

Just a bit of fun, Akela.

Thanks, Z.

Bella, no females but lots of males making deposits.
But I'm sure they'd make an exception if you say you're looking for an attractive seaman...

Sperm Banks have a much higher interest rate for male depositors.
Those new bank machines can be a real pain. It is so embarrasing trying to do your business in the middle of a mall..especially with a huge lineup behind you.

Why the Banks decided to get rid of Tellers is a mystery. It was always more enjoyable to see a friendly, smiling, face and receive a firm handshake before you made a transaction.

Ghee! Now I get it! :-)
Austrians call this butterschmalz, and I remember having a hard time with it, after all I was used to eat food prepared with olive oil. I remember one of my relatives who loved to add a little "extra" to all sorts of dishes, lovingly. I see her there, knife in hand, almost like a ballerina on tiptoe, adding that last loving touch to her exquisite meals.

I sure hope you will frame that great photo of the café window (I see it in a simple black wooden frame, with a large ghee-coloured passepartout and a smaller lighter coloured one).
