Mar Menor...
A beautiful area of the Costa Blanca, La Mar Menor has on one side la Costa Calida and on the other La Manga. Salt lakes, clean, shallow beaches, muds baths, long promenades on one side and high-rise buildings on the other.
David and Goliath...
Peaceful space...

You were so close to where I used to live. You should go to Cabo De Palos.
It is beautiful there hough ....isn't it?
Oh, the last one, how on earth did you manage to capturs both the bright celestial blue sea, and the sky? "M'illumino d'immenso", is what comes to my mind, and I have never seen an adequate congenial translation for that, loosely meaning "being exposed to a demonstration of sheer endlessness" (and that is very loose).
oh, my heart aches with the sun and beauty! Especially that last, impossibly blue, impossible photo....

Goth, I have always known of Cabo de Palos but this time I went there after I visited Calblanque (Where I took the photo of the lizard). What a great place! Had a beautiful lunch there. My friend Didier recommended El Pez Rojo for my next time there.
Merisi, you are font of information! I took that photo with a zoom and just resized it. When you click on it the whole screen becomes alive with blues...
Often it is only when other people point out beauty that we notice it. Thanks.
Hayden, you too have made me discover that photo. As seen through a poet's eyes...
Looks like I need to get in the queue for the last one then, its beautiful.
Your talking zoom and resizeing, not sure what kind of cake you eat!!!!
I can 'smell' the sea salt air and feel the warm rays...aaahhh!
Now I'm just going to close my eyes for a minute and dream about strolling down the beach....
Queenie, it's a piece of cake, woman! All you need is zoom using the zoom button. When you've downloaded your photos onto your computer, you'll be able to crop them to the size you prefer.
HE, must be the sardines...
We picked the same globe, peace to you and all your loved ones.
OMG, Ive just read your answer to my previous comment is it the sardines or did you call me WOMAN???
Beautiful photographs Cream, you're sure getting your money's worth out of that new camera.
Peace to you.
I am sorry your Majesty... Just a figure of speech up here. Off with my head!
As for the globe, I copied it from... you and added the bottom part. Muchas Gracias!
Peace to you and yours, Q!
Akela, there is one or two more lots and that's it! I can't believe I took so many photos!
Peace to you and yours.
Your welcome I compliment your good taste, but thats your Knighthood on hold (guess I'll have to give it Beckham now!).
Sorry its me again, you copied my globe and never left a comment????
No, your Majesty, I'm sorry I didn't...
I sneaked over the Palace wall while you were asleep, was about to leave you a comment but had to jump out quick out of the window cos I heard footsteps down the great hall.
I shall come back tonight.
Eeeeek! Michaei Fagin I presume.
I wouldn't have come home.
Oui, votre Majesté.
Mary, I felt like staying there longer...
Cream, hm, if I only knew what "resize" means, but: the important thing is the outcome, and I only now clicked on the image to see it in all its gloriousness. Wow! Blue, dipinto di blue (that's Domenico Modugno, "Volare", and if you'd play that in your restaurant, I wouldn't mind at all *grin*)!
I had a crazy week, and am only slowly catching up with my fav blogs. :-)
Merisi, it is one of my favourite song... I have heard so many versions of it over the years. Mario Lanza's is great but at the pizzeria we play the Gypsy Kings version. A bit faster and bouncier but no less beautiful.
