Mar Menor...

A beautiful area of the Costa Blanca, La Mar Menor has on one side la Costa Calida and on the other La Manga. Salt lakes, clean, shallow beaches, muds baths, long promenades on one side and high-rise buildings on the other.

Salt heaps awaiting shipment to the UK. The salt is used to grit winter roads.

David and Goliath...

Peaceful space...

You were so close to where I used to live. You should go to Cabo De Palos.

It is beautiful there hough ....isn't it?

Oh, the last one, how on earth did you manage to capturs both the bright celestial blue sea, and the sky? "M'illumino d'immenso", is what comes to my mind, and I have never seen an adequate congenial translation for that, loosely meaning "being exposed to a demonstration of sheer endlessness" (and that is very loose).

Goth, I have always known of Cabo de Palos but this time I went there after I visited Calblanque (Where I took the photo of the lizard). What a great place! Had a beautiful lunch there. My friend Didier recommended El Pez Rojo for my next time there.

Merisi, you are font of information! I took that photo with a zoom and just resized it. When you click on it the whole screen becomes alive with blues...
Often it is only when other people point out beauty that we notice it. Thanks.

Hayden, you too have made me discover that photo. As seen through a poet's eyes...

I can 'smell' the sea salt air and feel the warm rays...aaahhh!

Queenie, it's a piece of cake, woman! All you need is zoom using the zoom button. When you've downloaded your photos onto your computer, you'll be able to crop them to the size you prefer.

HE, must be the sardines...

Cream, hm, if I only knew what "resize" means, but: the important thing is the outcome, and I only now clicked on the image to see it in all its gloriousness. Wow! Blue, dipinto di blue (that's Domenico Modugno, "Volare", and if you'd play that in your restaurant, I wouldn't mind at all *grin*)!
I had a crazy week, and am only slowly catching up with my fav blogs. :-)

Merisi, it is one of my favourite song... I have heard so many versions of it over the years. Mario Lanza's is great but at the pizzeria we play the Gypsy Kings version. A bit faster and bouncier but no less beautiful.
