A series of anecdotes with or without any connection to the running of a restaurant.
Back to the grind...
(Click to enlarge)For me this photo typifies French life: relaxed, flowery, querky, full of surprises...I did a double take as I looked down this Limoux street yesterday morning. I am sifting through the many photos I took over the last few days, to give you a taste of the South of France.Labels: photos, Travel

I love this photo! (And it really does need to be enlarged to be appreciated -- and no funny comebacks on that one! :)
I love these old, narrow alleys, such a delightful photo Cream!
What a great photo, so much detail to look at. Nice to have you back, hope it went well?
Savoir vivre. :-)
Looking forward to more pictures from paradise. ;-)
Great shot, hope you had a lovely time. Looking forward to seeing and reading more about your FEW days away in beautiful France.
wow. a lot to learn from her, isn't there? In six inches of dirt she's created an entire garden - facing in to her garden, back turned to the world, she and her dog enjoying a break in her own back yard.
I couldn't believe my luck, Andrea when I looked down that side street. I only noticed the dog later when I zoomed.
Bella, I think France is nothing but a succession of narrow alleys.
Thanks, Akela. It went very well. Nothing really can go wrong when you've got good food, wine and friends.
You've got it right, Merisi. Le "savoir vivre" and that lady must be an expert at it.
Queenie, it was only a FEW days... Three in fact. East Midlands-Carcassonne and back.
There are a few more photos coming soon.
Hayden, I was just thinking that. I bet she has a pot-au-feu or cassoulet simmering away on the stove, made with ingredients she bought from the local market just that morning.
Beauty is where you find it. Or make it.
What more do you need, your dog, your garden and a good book.....
Wonderful! I really enjoyed your video too!
This could pass for a photo of Lisbon's old areas...
