Not too different from what you would find here... sardine season also, and during this month with the "saints" festivities in most cities you can get barbecued sardines almost everywhere!
Cream, it's less that an hour's flight! :-) I found some more mediterranean (Apulian, i.e. Southern Italian) sardines, marinated (for the English translation, scroll down the page a little).

Mary, I thought they were stuffed vine leaves but they turned out to be tuna stuffed sweet peppers. Really tasty.
