Lost...
Today, I got in the car to go to a refrigeration company nearby to have a look a new undercounter fridge. Just about five miles away. My friend, Didier gave me the instructions. Off I went...
And, guess what? Yes, I got lost...
After 15 minutes of looking around for my final destination, I gave up, left my car at the entrance of a woodland park and followed a sign...
(Click on the photos to enlarge them.)
And tomorrow afternoon, I will be on one of those heading for the Spanish sun, food and wine...

What a lovely place to get lost, especially with your new camera!
Lucky you going on holiday tomorrow - enjoy!
love the picture, cream, particularly the one with the ducks.

I am with Monk, on the ducks, that is. Wonder what kind of camera you're using ... ;-)

P.S.:
To Spain you go? *sigh*
I see Vienna's tourist numbers plummeting. :-(
Man, your really got lost in style!
Much better than getting lost in some dark street or in the middle of the traffic of a big city. Way to go.
Enjoy your Spanish vacation. Have a few cañas for me.
Akela, I always carry my camera with me nowadays. It's so tiny. The break was a spur of the moment thing. I shall take a few photos over there.
Marcos, yes I agree, I was amazed at how clear the water was.
On the Costa Blanca just ½ hour from Alicante. Can't believe this but it was raining over there, today.
Merisi, a good friend of mine advised me to get a Sony Cybershot 8.1...;o)
Sorry about not choosing Vienna... :o{
It’s much easier to go to Spain for many reasons and I'm useless at German…
DC, this was 15 minutes from home and I am glad I discovered it. The chefs will have to wait for their fridge till I come back.
I shall indeed have a few cañas for you. Great to have you back, BTW.
Wow looks like you did well getting lost here!
Happy Holiday.
I guess you will be getting lost more often, much nicer than undercounter fridges any day.
Love all the photos. I too love taking pictures of the flowers of weeds, in your case buttercups and daisys. I go around taking macro shots of the tiniest flowers and am amazed by their perfection.
Have a super holiday Cream, enjoy it all, including the weather whatever it decides to do. Best wishes.
Oh the Spanish sun.....how divine!!!
I thank you for the nature walk.
Terrific, looks like you made a right turn out of a wrong one.
The Accidental Tourist!
Nothing beats a spontaneous event...
except perhaps a planned vacation to Spain.
Magical journey eh?
I hope you enjoy your next Spanish journey. I am certain you will.
Enjoy, use your new toy to share your special moments!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a find! DUCKS! I love ducks... I wonder what the two male ones are saying to each other...
Cool - at first I was expecting a picture of a fridge in the pond... glad to see it's unspoilt.
Where you are going is less than an hour from where I lived up until December
I miss Spain *pouts bottom lip*
Enjoy y hasta pronto amigo
great choice!
have a wonderful vacation!
love the photos and especially of the ducks - beautiful mix of colors. Enjoy your break and looking forward to reading about and seeing all the photos!!
Caro, I will get lost more often from now on.
HE, The accident prone tourist usually. Let's hope it all goes well.
Thanks, Mary. I will.
Q, I shall try to bring a few pictures back.
Fathorse, I was thinking about writing a funny caption. I like ducks too especially with crispy pancakes and hoisin sauce...;o)
Goth, there is a lot of pondlife around here but I'm glad it didn't apply to that little corner of paradise.
One hour in which direction? I may know where you were...
Thanks, Hayden.
Thanks, Bella. I shall bring back some piccies...
Bon voyage, Cream!
(As far as Arnie's accent is concerned, he's is so heavy because the region he comes from, Styria, has a very pronounced dialect - we Austrians all speak a "second" language, usually it's really our first, i.e. dialect of the region, and we learn correct German usually not before starting first grade.)
I am looking forward to some great pictures from your vacation!
A note of caution:
Due to some unfortunate events in the past, which involved once the complete loss of my camera, I now always put that little string around my wrist, as soon as I start pulling out my camera. It's a matter of habit, and serves well.
Says Merisi :-)
"The Duck lies shredded in a pancake,
soaking in the hoisin of your lies..."
lol, Bill Bailey is a GOD!
Gee, some people sure know how to have a great time even when they're lost!
Que tenga buenas vacaciones...wishing you a great holiday.
Why is your bloog called screamers???
you're a smart man, willing to get lost so quickly and easily.
enjoy your travels, cream. i like to hear about your adventures.
:)
That's my kind of "lost." Thanks for a detour.
what, you're getting a lift from the ducks?
don't forget your seat belt.
When I get lost I end up in a scary neighbourhood. I much prefer the way you get lost.
I love the way the water looks in that photo with the three ducks.
Lovely photos, Cream! I'd get lost with you anytime!
i feel like your new camera is a gift to my eyeballs!
