Cock a doodle doo...

The last post gave rise to many different takes on the subject.
Sorry, I did not answer your comments but here is a thought.
I still insist that the heart does rule most of our decisions.
You may not realise it but even in the most banal of cases of day to day decisions, it is invariably the heart that wins over the head...
Let's say for instance, you get up, shower and then stand in front of the wardrobe for ten minutes, (less than 10 seconds in my case) wondering what to wear...

Of course it will depend whether you are going to work, play or dance... But in each case it will be your heart that will rule the choice.

Can you think of any instances where you heart has won over your head or vice-versa?

This doodle is really a doodle...

Akelamalu tagged me for my five favourite blogs:

Hayden for her thoughts on life and the living...
Daphnée and her really amusing stories...
Lettuce for her great variety of writings and photos...
Merisi and her amazing Viennese photos...
Homoescapeons to provide a gender balance...

All the above are now tagged...

My heart rules my head all the time. Every time I buy new clothes, jewellery, a handbag - my head says I can't afford it but my heart say "I want it!"

Thanks for joining in the meme. xx

thank you for the tag, cream......

my heart rules. even when I'm "being prudent" it is only because there is something that my heart wants more than immediate gratification.

my head gets involved after my heart has set the goals. my heads job is to figure out how to get there. sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.

Living without my heart at the core wouldn't be living for me.

My heart lets me know what I want
My head decides on how logical is is
My heart takes the decision
My head shakes it's inner head and waits for the consequences

I don't about handbags or jewellery, Akelamalu but with clothes my heart rules. If I feel comfy in them, they're ok.

Hayden, that is exactly moi! My head takes care of the travelling arrangements after my heart has chosen the destination...

I love that Goth! It does shake but as long as the heart is happy everything else falls into place.

Mary, it takes about an hour while watching the telly... Piece of cake!

Glad to hear that, Marcos because after your last comment I was a bit worried.

my heart won over my head in a major and stupid way before my first marriage, and my head won over my heart in a stubborn and nervous way just before my second marriage.

i'm never going to marry again.

Cream,
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the tag.
(Taaaaag? You mean I get to mention only 5 blogs from the many I love? This is heart breaking!!! May I sleep over this before I take out my sword and cut away my heart strings?)
Now let me fetch some chocolate to calm me down. Seratonins, take over!

In my case the heart comes up with the idea, the brains then argue it out for what seems like ages and them we compromise, well sometimes compromise.

If its the sensible brain then the heart loses, if its the flipant easy-go-lucky brain then it ok, we win.

Merisi, ahead that's the only direction my heart nose...

Daphnée, just choose five of your blogfriends... Close your eyes and use a pin.

You're right, Dizzy. It is all about compromise.

Lettie, you know you are. Just pick five of your favourite blogfriends...

Hmm, for an emotional gal, I still like to think that sometimes I let my head rule. But I can't think of any one way right now, darn. Too sleepy again.
