Vocation...

Saturday night, our pizzeria broke the record! 234 diners!!
I reckon that half of the customers were guys who had forgotten about the card and roses on Valentine's Day...
I think I have found my artistic vocation!
Cartoons about North African life (Women in veil are so easy to draw!)
WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

That cartoon is hillarious! You definitely have found your calling.

And I must say, your pizza has got to be out of this world with that many diners. C'mon, tell us your secret:-)

M.M, secrets of the trade... Just kidding! It is just the normal run of the flour mill pizza dough, really.
Glad you like the cartoon. I bet you are surrounded with veiled women...

Hayden, I think it also had to do with the start of the half-term holidays...
The third one is a Mediterranean restaurant with a bit of Algerian influence.

Ale, glad you like the cartoon. Yes, even Mamma's Spaghetti Vongole could apply!

The cartoons are excellent. I remember seeing a BD when I was in Algiers, about a bunch of aliens who came to earth and accidentally landed in Algeria. It was hilarious! I wish I could remember the name of the cartoonist. Stick to non-religious subjects though!

Thanks, Mary. Yes, I did a lot of cogitating...

Daphnée, his name is Slim. He was very popular during my student days. I think he lives in France nowadays.
Do you really think I shouldn't have mentioned St. Valentine? :o)
You pointed out that site once before. Great!

Caro, something like this: One snowman says to another:"I can smell carrots!"
