To realise the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who failed a grade.
To realise the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby.
To realise the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper .
To realise the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
To realise the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who missed the train.
To realise the value of ONE SECOND, ask a person who just avoided an accident.
Treasure every moment!
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is mystery.
Thanks to all those who commented on my "HELP" post.
Life goes on.
Have a great New Year, my Blogfriends!

2007 will be a fabulous year. It'll be the year that I finally get to eat in one of your restaurants. Heck! I may even try all 3 x
Wise words and Cherrypie will be buying me a plane ticket (What's the nearest airport? Is Manchester too far?) so I can join her in her culinary adventures.
Where's your help post? I missed it.
Thanks, Cream, I'll be on call for surgery, so wish everyone a safe New Year too, for me.
I was telling my Auntie M. something similar about time...that if you want it to drag, go through some terrible experience.
I hope next year is chockful of happy moments, seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months for you, Cream.
Yes, chockful - a lovely choice of words, I hope so too Cream.
Cherrybabes, if you can bounce all the way up here on your spacehopper, I SWEAR I will give a free meal at all three restaurants! Scouts honour!
Happy New Year. ;0)
Andrea, Newcastle is the nearest to us. The cry for HELP has been answered.
CD, you good Samaritan, giving up your New Year's Eve to look after the injured drunken yobs...
You are right there, Gigi. It drags and it drags and it drags...
All the best to you too.
And Eid Mubarak for today.
Lettie, Chockfuls for everyone. All the best for 2007!
Oh Cream you have deleted your help post haven't you... so now its a mystery to those of us who weren't around to read it... I hope you got whatever help you needed xxxx
hello cream, you seem like too interesting and nice a guy for me to pass up, so i hope you don't mind my visit here. if you like andrea and cp, your taste is obviously impeccable. perhaps you'll like me over time too.
i owned a restaurant for a short time, cream. i know the exhaustion and exhilaration only too well.
one of these days i'll relax and read your back posts and find out what you did in algeria.
happy new year!

glad to hear your "help" was answered!
it always seems that the future is miles away, and then it's on me and gone! Poom, just like that!
thanks for the new years wishes... I think 2007 is going to be a difficult but fabulous year!
all the best to you next year!
Mubarak Eid. Can you believe...no Eid for us here...there's the usual confusion...some say tomorrow...some say Monday. Eid is on Monday for most of us here.
Hi Cream, best wishes
for the final moments of the ending year, and much merryment, much fun and much cheer seeing in the New Year
Dear, dear, Cream. I DO wish you all the very best for the New Year my friend.
Welcome, KJ... Can't remember the last time someone said I was interesting but keep it coming!
I'm glad you know about the restaurant business from the "inside"...
Hayden, we must enjoy the present,(I keep telling myself) because the future is only a second away.
Gigi, I think it is about time that these things should be made the same all over the world. But isn't that the root of the problem?
All the best for the New Year, Quasar!
Mary, thank you so much for being there!
Life is truly precious, thanks for the reminder. Happy New Year, Cream!
Wouldn't that be great? One big celebration around the world. I agree, Cream. Unity in joy.
