I now believe in life after death...

Snowmen don't just die away,
When they become old and grey.

They melt into oceans and lakes,
Then evaporate like snowflakes.

They climb slowly up to Paradise
And in winter they fall as snow and ice.

At Christmas they come back to life again
As happy, smiley white snowmen.

Someone sent me the cartoon this morning and after I had a smile, I couldn't accept that a snowman can die.
So I had to write about it...
Glad you like it, Caro.

Ohhhhh for some snowwwwww! But not until we're safely in Sussex and then safely back. Somewhere in between?
I do miss the northern winters 'when greasy Joan doth keel the pot.'

Pi, Joan's still greasy! And tonight feels cold enough for snow. The gritters have been out.

Mary, the cartoon inspired the whole thing.

Hayden, great idea! I'll start sharpening my pencil and wit...

Paradise? A beach. A tree. Warm sun. Cool blue ocean.

Gigi, snowmen's Paradise is a comfortable freezer, not your common-place, middle-of-the-road sunny beach...Bah!

For me, your Paradise is ok! But I can take it or leave it.
Nowt wrong with 4 degrees C?

Funny - and sad and good :-) It's sad, that he is dead, our snowman, but very good he will recycle! Maybee he is in the comfortable freezer now?
