Glorious Estivation....

This blog has decided to estivate for a while!
Could be hibernate cos up here it is not so hot!

Nearly a year has gone by since I started it and a lot of water has flowed under troubled bridges, lots of great blogfriends, lots of fun, reflections, rantings...

I have loved just about every minute of it.
Totally addictive, I am sure you will all agree!

Very often I neglected my real work in favour of looking for the right YouTube video...

I need to get my business head back on to remain on track because bread and butter don't grow on trees unless they are bread-and-butter trees!

I often imagined the restaurants running themselves while I sat sipping rosé with my friends.
But the reality is that you can only pour yourself so many glasses before the cup overflows and the camel breaks the last drinking straw...

Remain loyal my blogfriends because I estimate my estivation will not last very long!

Everyone needs a break from blogland now and then. It's been a good first year! I look forward to your return :)

Maybe a bloggers anonymous blog should be set up to help those of us who are so addicted. Take a break, but I look forward to your return

Yes, enjoy your break but don't be away too long. I shall miss you.

There are such good things out there in real life - it's a shame to spend too much time bogged down in blogger. Give the real things some time for once, enjoy them and make them work. (She says writing blogger comments instead of writing the report required for tomorrow!).

Gosh, bread and butter grows on trees too! I had thought it was only fruit, nuts and chickens. Well, well!!

I will miss you too! :o(

Blogging is a funny thing isn't it? Addictive yes! But sometimes I wish to stop entirely and other times I love it!!

Someone once said to me that one little comment on your blog can make all the difference!! Who was it now??

Take care...

Diurnal warm hearted creatures like you should not estivate.
You are a ray of sunshine my friend and summer is the time to make hay!

Have a nap, but do not
over estivate because you underestimate how much you will be missed.

I estimate you'll estivate for less than 2 weeks, mate

Actually, that's probably just wishful thinking on my part. If you stay away too long, I may just have to come up to Hartlepool in search of tapas to fill the void xx

Thanks, everyone!
I think I have estivated long enough...
I investigated, cogitated and digested lots of stuff...
and discovered that I like my blog too much to let heat or work get in its way....
