Eye spy with my little eye...

Tat asked her regular blogging friends to provide a self-portrait...
This is the nearest thing I got to one. Tat, I hope you don't mind.

I have been told that I have smiley eyes... I need reading glasses nowadays!
My moustache is getting greyer by the day...I have had it since June 1974...Student protest!
The laughter lines are growing in number and depth... What the hell!!!

It's not the years in your life, it's the LIFE in your years.

I was chatting the other night with a young girl, she's 21-ish. She talked for 3 hours about herself, is full of herself, as my mother said; dislikes other women and...

Well, you get my point?

It's the kind of person you are, not how old you are that counts.

Funny, I just wrote about eyes on my post! Can you see it? :-)

Tat, c'est pour mieux te voir, par contre!!!

Trac, thanks! Great song!

Tat, that was a good sketch wasn't it! You're getting too warm for wool! Glad I made you smile!

Goodness me, Daphnée! I knew that my Mediterranean Macho Syndrome, as my Parisian brother calls moustaches, would one day get me into trouble! But what crime did I commit?

Iluvnyc, thanks! A good pupil all my life!

Gigi, I do get your point... and age is only a number...Just going to read your post right now!

That goat was a family pet. My grandmother never got over the shock. If you didn't live in bandit country I would come up there and have you clapped in those stocks on the quayside, but after a Saturday night in the Boro I swore I'd never set foot north of Watford again. So it will have to be couscoussieres at dawn at the Porte de St Ouen.

Tee hee! Daphne made me laugh.

My, what smiley eyes you have - if you ever got bored of the restaurant biz, you could double successfully for Santa.

And what a fabulous idea of Tat's - I shall pinch it immediately.

Hey, it's you. I didn't see this photo earlier.

Now you can do a Dove soap ad, Cream.

P.S. Did you line them eyes with khol before taking this pic?

Daphnée, you ARE a scream! But I swear on my grandfather's caravanserai, I honestly thought it was mutton dressed as lamb!
Well, couscoussiers at dawn it will be but maybe Barbès instead!

Annie, she is hilarious this ex-nomad!
I am already bored with the restaurants but Santa? Thanks!

Lettuce, as long as it keeps you smiling...Thanks!

Gigi, Mascara is an Algerian town I've never visited and never been to Kohl either! Papa would kill me!

Dove soap? More like carbolic soap!

Thanks, Viking! If I don't look half my age, I could look double, you know!
I shall smile a bit more to get even more wrinkles...

Thanks Shyha! I also have a calculator just in case!

You're kidding me. Mascara and Khol are places in Algeria? Why would Papa kill you for visiting them? How is Papa? Please give him our salaams.

Cream, can you tell Vit that I finished chapter 18? Please? I emailed her but I'm now desperate to get rid of the thing and bugging folks to let her know. waaaaah.

:) I love it! Love your eyes that smile. Even though this is just a portion of your face, your heart shines through. I'm glad you shared this.

*nudges Dcver* Your turn big boy! ;)

I kid!

Gigi, Papa is great, thanks!
Just kidding but I don't think kohl would suit me! There is an Algerian town after which mascara was named.
I will try and contact Vit asap!

Thanks, Christine. I don't think that Dcver would give up his anonymity... He's too shy and too busy moving house!!!
