Back to Earth...

Fish soup as promised by Didier's mother...

I will try to sort out and post some of the photos before the weekend.
Three days of wine, food, friends and sightseeing... Glorious weather!

But back to a cold England, lots of things to sort out, headaches really, a bout of depression (I hate coming back to Earth!) and reality!

great fotos, made me want to haul out my traveling bag and pack up. Wonderful delicate colors on The Old Cité from the bridge shot - as yummy as the food shot.

H.E. my next trip is already planned!

K.G. I only bring back duty free stuff if I take my car...I hate luggage...Asda is just over the road and the wine department is very good!

Hayden, it was a magical weekend! We're already planning the next one.

Janet, fish soup is lovely! Didier's mother brought out all her best stuff for his visit!

Wendz, lucky, lucky you!!!

Oh that fish soup. That was terrible looking at all those photos just before lunch. I will go and be disgusted by what is on offer in the school canteen now.

Glad to have you back though. Missed your wicked witty ways.

PS I love foie gras - but I never get to have it anymore. Pah!

Which Cite? The pictures so reminded me of Aveyron, where we have good friends (St. Affrique, Millau - poss. not far from where you were?). I once had the nerve to make them cassoulet - they said it wasn't quite French but was very good.

Great pictures, I do miss it.

Hope the NE isn't looking too miserable this weekend.

DC, I am back on my salad diet now! And giving my liver a bit of a rest...

Kitty, what the definition of a school canteen? ...Mush Room!!!
I had enough foie gras to last me a year!
Witty? Sorry about that naff Broads video...I was scraping the barrel!

Lettuce, it was Carcassonne!!
Yeah, well the French are a bit overboard about their cuisine!
I'm sure your Cassoulet was very good!
I hope our weekend improves...cos it is quite cold at the moment!
