Lazy Sundays...

Evie played reporters as we walked around the Marina before lunch.
She later showed me how to use Powerpoint.

Evie spying on Casa and snapping man in black (Chauffeur) in the process...

Alex was desperate for something to eat but would not have his photo taken sat at an empty table!

Ahhh.....

Mary, Evie and Alex are my grandkids!

Shyha, you can't have it all, can you!

The strawberries and raspberries were flavoured with orange blossom and sugar, that's all.
Evie got a chocolate maker for Christmas so she made the hearts and stars. She dipped the meringues in chocolate too.
Yes, cheese and wine! The best!

I haven't been counting, but this makes a couple of really nice weekends in a row for you. Not everyone can say the same. That wine and cheese photo lookes inviting. I'll have to create my own photo opportunity in the days to come.

While we are on the subject of food....

The best dessert (or most memorable) I have ever had was last year at Tat's in a restaurant in Perpignan. I'm not a great fan of chocolate deserts (double s or single?) so plumped for the 'fromage blanc flavoured with orange blossom and rose'. My God it was the most delicate and delicious thing I have ever tasted. I keep trying to recreate the experience at home with Greek Yoghurt and rose and orange blossom. It was my first experience of orange blossom flavoured food (! I know!) and I loved it....as you can tell.

Viking, you are right but getting back to the rest of the week is quite hard!

Brian, if I could, every day would be a Sunday, friends, music, food and wine!

Wendy, two smoked cheeses(don't like them much) but yes, Camembert I love with bread and wine, and friends and music!)

Rambler, in Algeria orange blossom is used a lot in deSSerts. You can get it from ethnic food shops.
Try it on your strawberries or pomegranates, one tsp and sugar, you'll never have them any other way!
Sounds really good, the Fromage blanc.

Ooooh orange blossom desserts. I'm beginning to have a Rambling Woman moment here and all I've got in the office is a mouldy old banana. Actually perhaps that sounds a bit kinky. It wasn't meant to.

Your restaurant looks wonderful as do your grandchildren. I just love children with freckles - so cute.

I've decided to cut out alcohol for the whole of May so no more posting pickies of wine bottles, if you please!

Kitty, I will hide all the wine until the end of May! Promise!
Glad you had a great time in Florence!
