When I scream for ice cream...

Flavour!

I love ice cream... Many flavours... Rum and Raisin, Caramel, Lemon Sorbet, Ahhhh....
Sometimes, Karen gets low fat ice cream!
Guess how big the helping becomes? Yes, you've guessed: Twice as big! Well, it's low fat so I might as well have twice as much!

I am not usually a dessert man (although Karen has called me a "desert man" on numerous occasions when I find myself in her bad books), but I often help myself to a bowlful of ice cream while I'm watching the telly on Sunday afternoons...
I tend to add a little honey, slice a banana, rake the cupboards for a few nuts...

Sheer delight!

I posted this picture two weeks ago but I feel it is what this week's Illustration Friday is all about.

I love ice cream too. And many of the flavours you mention but my favourite flavour of all is boring old vanilla! On it's own or with chopped banana and/or nuts. Mmmmm....

"rake the cupboards for a few nuts..." boy do I know what that's like. There's nothing like a heap of something from the nut family.

This sounds so much better than the fat free plain yoghurt I just had! You're on a roll with these pretty drawings. I am enjoying the colors and the grainy background...the figures stand out as if they are against colored sand.

This past summer, we made homemade ice cream almost every Sunday( usually cherry), but my favorite store bought is butter pecan.

You just got me where it hurts! I am such a huge fan of ice cream that I missed Michelangelo's David to eat Vivoli ice cream. (Sacrilege!) I make lemon ice cream sometimes. I'm drooling now.

I scream and they all jump!
We all have our weaknesses and ice cream seems to be one of them! Ha!
Everyone has a particular favourite and the world is a great place!
Carla, never thought about coloured sand but I really agree! If you look hard enough at the background the picture seems to stand out! Well spotted!

I don't practice waht I preach that often really.
I think the last time I had any ice cream must have been 3-4 weeks ago!
Lately I have been "desserting" on low fat yoghurt with a trickle of honey! Magic!

ahhh sometimesI get so hungry for some ice cream I can't resist buying one of those little pints. But then I have some and it makes me happy and I don't want more.... next thing I know its a few weeks later, its got frost all over it, the flavor and texture is spoiled and I'm throwing it away. sigh.

Yes, Hayden, the best thing is to tuck in as soon as you get home! I find that ice cream doesn't keep well household fridges.

Low fat is my fave, I don't like the icky-feeling of the full-fat ice cream.

Frozen yoghurt. Mmmmmmm.

MANGO ICE CREAM. And chocolate. And vanilla.

My favourite flavour is vanilla - it just tastes most like icecream to me... though strawberries and cream icecream is pretty good... now look what you've done got me into a fantasy about icecream when really I'm cold enough already - brrr!!
