Nobel Peace Prize
Today Mr Mohamed_El Baradei was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his achievements with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Atomic Energy is very subjective stuff! Just like UN resolutions...
One country can be invaded for not abiding by them and another can just flout them and never even get a slap on the hand.
If it hadn't been for Vanunu no one would have known that Israel had its own ... Nuclear Energy Production

Somehow, the fact that Israel holds WMDs seems like less of a threat to other nations than let us say Iran for example. Of course those at war with Israel surely disagree on this subject.
The Nobel Peace Prize sadly does not make the world leaders listen and abide.
I'd like to get rid of even the weapons of minor destruction. Gotta start somewhere though, might as well begin with the nukes.
dcver, it may be less of a threat, I agree but shouldn't there be an even-handed approach? That could be the start of world peace... Am I just another dreamer?

What worries me, dcver is that we all stop dreaming. Nightmares are just around the corner.
