My Cheeky, Cheery Wallpaper...

This is my wallpaper: my granddaughter, Evie Louise!

Every time I turn the computer on I am greeted with her cheeky face pulling her tongue at me!
And this cheers me up no end as I start a day of hard toil and sweat...

She was 7 at the time I snapped her and when I showed her this photo last week she paused and then said:
"Wasn't I cheeky when I was little, eh, Grampa!"
The photo was only taken 2 years ago!

Sometimes she calls me Gramps. I pretend to go in the huff but I really love it when she tries to wind me up!

So what's your wallpaper, then?

I have some old generic pic. of some genric morning scene.

Awww, you are just putty in her hands, Cream.

When she was 'little' eh? Like my cuz, when she was 7, she said she's lived sooooo lonnnng...SEVEN years!!

I love the cheeky things children do...I caught one of my nephews, when he was no higher than my knee, sticking his fingers in his ears and rasping his tongue at another child.

Little kids are great, but sometimes they do make us feel old.
Soooo, how was it growing up with a dinossaur for pet, cream?

My pet dinosaur was great until he got too star-struck for his shoes! Age jokes are like water off a duck's back. I still celebrate my 21st every year!
What's your wallpaper anyway?

GG,she is lovely and clever...and just like her Nana! God help her husband!

Man, as long as you are at least 21 when you have to be responsible, you can keep a 6 year old inside and the age outside doesn't matter. No wallpaper, just an almost black green screen. Less stress on my eyes.

she is so cute! i love her little sandles and socks!

my wall paper right now is a view from the green hills in costa rica that open up to blue-blue sea and some palm trees sticking out...

and sometimes i just go to drwrite.blogspot.com and pick out any photo she takes outside of her house and it can be a screen saver too--

That is a beautiful photo and looks unreal and misty in the background.
My wallpaper is of a battered old boat in a glacier lake on a tiny island on the west of ireland. It´s the island where my dad grew up and it reminds me of all the things i miss, including the barren stoney wet beauty of being alone in the west.

DC, you're only as old as you feel... No, girls, I am not going to say "the woman you feel"!

Ale, she knows she is cute but doesn't take advantage!
I checked out that blog, nice photos.
Green hills of Costa Rica? I fancy an espresso!
GGB, I played about with the background a little.
Your wallpaper sounds good! You'll have to post it on your blog!

Cheeky!

My wallpaper changes quite a bit... But it's usually a picture of my fiancee or a Porsche. Right now it's my fiancee-- she's a bit cheeky too!

A Porsche, eh? Does that give you a good start in the morning?
Girlfriend Wallpapers definitely for cold mornings!

Cream, I would love to, but I am somewhat limited by the fact I do everything on work computers (livin on the edge and all that). If you look up Inis Oirr in Google you might find it if you´d like to see it...but most people find it dull. I guess it just reminds me of where I come from.
